This year the “young theatre” from Mostar celebrates 25 years and 20 years since the days of the young theatre started with their work. The festival was opened much longer then the last cupple of years. It started first and ended 31th August in Mostar and as we find out from the main office of festival antasian poem there is a possibility that the next years “Days…” keep not in Mostar but in Sarajevo or Wien it all depends of dirctor and his coroporaters.

That is because it seems that this town ( the rest of it, that is) or some people in town who can help a lot and not, are not interested  in this festival ( in fact, we mean the material help or any other kind which would be wellcomed) or maybe they think that there is enough culturel happenings in this town ( this and those wich they find good- but I would like to say good for them and suitable). Or maybe they are afraid of some other things ( there were young people from all the parts of our ex country and Europe).To the media , which is full of programs about multiculture and multinacionalism and which are supposed to be a part of it, we can just say thanks for NOT writing and informing us about the festval.

They (ofcourse) find very culturel happening  a concert of folk music, not only because they are the sponsors of it but because they find them selves comfortable there with their “own pepole”.

Anyway, thanks to the organizators even this year some of us could enjoy in huge number of workshops, plays and a company of young people from all over the world.

31th August- the last day of the festival at the Pavarotti Music Center four prices “Mravac” and diplomas of  The young theatre Mostar”.

The  members of jury were: Ljubica Ostojić a proffesour, Zoran Mlinarević- a drama student and Sead Đikić  a producer. The pices were given to: a drama studio Tirena from Zagreb for learning young people how to act in different situationes and for the plays “Once upon a time there was a fish” and “ Right to be wrong”, then to the Sarajevos theatre and the Actea group from Cean- France for the play “Pictures of wonders”, Belma Lizde for being a part of a play Medeamaterial which is an play from Stage art Academy from Sarajevo and to Slobodan Beštić and Omen theatre from Belgrade- Yugoslavija for doing the play “ A young man and 1000 angels”. After the awards we could see a play Magbeth which was played by young people from Mostar Sarajevo Belgrade.

At the end we just want to say thanks to the sponsors for making this possible and hop that the next “Days..” are going to be held in Mostar again and not anywhere else. Because if this town doesn´t need it, we do.
