Exactly a
month ago the thirty number of a guide for urban
sleepers, whose publisher is Alternative
Institute from Mostar, is being published.
People who don't leave in Bosnia and Herzegovina
haven't had a chance to see it and read it (or
maybe they have?) so I'm going to try to describe
it as, on the next page, possible as it is. The
leaf, the magazine (I don't know how to call it
we just use the name Kolaps) offers on it's
pages, by idea and conception of redaction (which
make: Mehmed Begić, Marko Tomaš, Nedim
Ćišić, Armin Voloder and Mili Krpo) a chance
to young and unafirmated (qualified of course)
writers to publish their prose and poetry and to
get contacted with older and more famous writers
who have behind themselves a lot of published
works.
Kolaps within carries a spirit and philosophizing of urban environment, which is trying to
represent today's every day and the reality of
life, in the true light, which is... it must be
confessed really preposterous. People who want to
publish their work, which are making sense and
aren't rassistic or national coulred, should
answer to the address: alt_ins@hotmail.com.
The idea turned to be very good, because every
day more and more people applying who want to
publish in Kolas or just want to get him, read or
distributes. (For now it ' s distributed from
hand to hand).
People from the "Alternative Institute"
and "Kolaps", maintained promotion wide
across Bosnia and Herzegovina (in Banja Luka,
Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla and there are also
promotions planed, if "financial
things" permit, Zagreb and Beograd).
Also in Kolaps there are people from all sides of
our ex county (which is not the reason of
existence of Kolaps, although today that is being
especially emphasis for anything) and other
countries of Europe.
The message that young people of Kolaps would
like to send and extend among people who are
reading it's not a message, it's just a special
picture of letargion in which we are living, a
picture in which you'll find yourself. or maybe
you won't in general the target is to represent
the truth with the help of art. At the end it
should be told that first three numbers of Kolaps
was financed by German organisation SHL (Schulen
Helfen Leben) and Phare program, the Young Bridge
also helped. Unfortunately they won't finance
printing and other needed things, so that people
who are able and want to help can apply the
address written up.
P.S. The text is
probably a little bit much subjective, but
everybody who read Kolaps should make their own
judgement.
