The club is sport organization with 46 years of work and existence.
According to achieved results it is one of the clubs with most awards.
It was established in 1952, on the 4th march. At the time the hangar, planes
and parachutes were provided for the first time. The veterans talk with
respect about the first jumps and flights over Prijedor.
The club grew by year in a decent
institution which affirmed itself in many disciplines, numerous generation
were trained, and many of those continued their career in civilian air
force.
The club was four times awarded as the best sport institution in Prijedor.
In 1989 the new hangar and track was given to the club. In 1990, Prijedor
was the host of the latest parachute championship in former Yugoslavia.
During the war the results was
also achieved, especially in 1994 when Momir Marin, Mladen Palada, Mladenko
Indjic entered Bulgaria Open International Parachute Championship and by
those means became the first sportsmen under RS flag.
The peace cheered up sports
activities. Last year Petrovdan (which has been for fourth time this year)
cups were the best way for Prijedor to remain the place for gathering of
best skydivers.
