In the morning of the 1th.03.2000 in Wednesday on train station in Mostar came a few thousand of Velez’s encouragers (Red Army). Train with composition of five overbooked wagons until last sit considering that at least one half of encouragers was standing all the time. Train had a bit late at the start of journey about 10:10 minutes after he supposed to go to Sarajevo. By the way it could be heard songs followed by drums of encouragers, which were hanging trough the windows of the train and made impress of typical football encourage atmosphere before football game.

There were three hours of the trip. On the way to Sarajevo there were no bigger problems or stopping the train except when train stopped to pick up other encouragers from Konjic.

Train arrived in Sarajevo about 13:00 hours. From train come out a big group who immediately started to go on the stadium on Kosevo. There were problems on the doors of stadium because there was to many people who wanted to get in. After one hour every single encourager was in west side of stadium. With encouragers of Velez there was a lot of encouragers of clubs from Sarajevo’s Zeljeznicar and Sarajevo. Encouragers of Zrinjski did not manage to view the game.

First half time was followed with four goals. First two goals made by Zrinjski, but that did not stop the encouragers of Velez to stay with Velez’s players, what is the reason of two goals by the Velez. Second half time was very poor because tempo of the game was very low, so the game is finished with the same result of 2:2. Those who didn’t came to this football game they could watch this competition on their TV screens and radio stations. After the game there was a brake before return to Mostar, so that’s why the train went about 18:30 to the Mostar. There were some problems on returning so the train came in Mostar about 22:30.

It is important to mention that this football game means one BIG step to united Mostar. Citizens of Mostar hope that the next match will be under the Bijeli Brijeg.
