the nightmare in a soul of an ordinary person-sufferer. Second
chapter named “Sva bi Bosna srecom mirisala, sva bi Bosna slobodom

sing freedom”) treats a theme of rising a new, better life, beauty
of habitual, every day event and happiness of a young soul rejoicing
with magnificent nature. Third chapter named “Daleko od zaborava”
(“Far from forgetting”) is actually a painful memory of her dead
mother. Fourth chapter called “Pohvala peru” (“The praise to
the pen”) tell us on necessity of learning and education, and that
is, warning to what an illiterate person could face within the
undeveloped society. Fifth chapter “Vasiona odjekuje Tvojim imenom”
(“Universe echoes with Your name”) is cycle of poems with
religion topics that speaks on transitoriness of everything that
someone creates and eternity
of the Almighty God and Creator.
The
author of the book is a child little less than 13 years old. The
book embraces her work in the last three years, meaning that her
first poems were written when the little girl was about 10 years
old.
Azra
Hodza was born 20.02.1987 in Sarajevo. Her mother died after a
prolonged and hard illness when she was 5 years old. At the same
time when her mother died, the brutal aggression on her Country
started with the main aim to destroy her people. She was spending
war days mostly in the cellars and shelters. When the war stopped,
together with her father she moved down to Mostar where she
proceeded with her education. And that is when the inspiration for
poetry writing started. That love for the written word helped her to
overcome memories on the painful events which have suddenly fallen
down on her young soul.
